Wa Lolitas are very well know due to the kimono inspired outfits. Long sleeves, obi sashes, detailed and extravagant fabric prints, make up goes from natural to geisha inspired and the skirt still has to be modest at the minimum, nowadays a lot of Wa Lolita outfits on the market are very short.

(Ero Lolita)

Even tough the name 'Ero' isn't so modest, Erotic Lolitas still have to keep it together. This style it's more about incorporating fetish elements like: leather, lace, collars, corsets. Skirts might be shorter than normal and fishnets can be incorporated in this style. Make up it's a more mature style and  sometimes you can show off your shoulders.
